Pocket Quads is Topographic Map
software for Windows Mobile devices (Pocket PC's) that displays your current GPS
position* on topographic maps in real-time. Pocket Quads automatically loads and
centers the correct map, based on your GPS position.
NEW! HIGHER RESOLUTION MAPS!
We have re-processed our Western Regional Edition digital topographic maps to
give you the highest resolution possible (up to 250 dpi). The new
higher-resolution 1:250,000 and 1:100,000 scale maps require more memory per
map, therefore TWO 4GB SD Cards are now required to hold all the maps in this
edition. Each card comes with all of the 1:250,000 topo maps for the
entire region (every State in the region). The 1:100,000 scale maps are
split onto the two cards at 42° North latitude.
So the 'South' card covers from 31° North latitude through 41° North latitude,
and the 'North' card covers from 42° North latitude through 48° North latitude.
